Dr. Julia Baird is a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY27073), specializing in the treatment of eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and trauma. Dr. Baird has two office locations in Los Angeles, one in Westwood across from UCLA and another in Torrance, CA. Dr. Baird received her B.A. in Psychology at Loyola Marymount University, her M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from University of Southern California, and her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University. In addition to her education, Dr. Baird and has trained at numerous internships throughout Los Angeles where she gained experience working with older adults, high risk adolescents and transitional aged youth, severe mental illness in an inpatient setting, and children who have been victims of abuse.  Dr. Baird's training and orientation includes contemporary psychoanalytic approaches, cognitive-behavioral interventions, mindfulness-based treatment, and body-centered approaches to the treatment of trauma. Dr. Baird is fascinated by the connection between mind body and spirit, and believes the path to mental well-being involves all three.
